About the role
- Operational controlling for the HvS Group — including project and bid costing, KPI analyses and other management/control instruments
- Tool-based preparation of monthly, quarterly and semi-annual reports, and support in preparing annual and consolidated financial statements in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB)
- Taking responsibility for the commercial/financial matters of the HvS Group in close cooperation with executive management
- Development into the commercial point of contact for the main shareholder as well as external stakeholders such as banks, lawyers, tax advisors and auditors
Requirements
- Completed degree in business administration or a technical field — or equivalent qualification
- Several years of professional experience in finance and accounting within a medium-sized company
- Very good knowledge of building and automating controlling and reporting structures (e.g., Excel, Power BI, etc.)
- Analytical, structured and proactive working style with a strong affinity for numbers
- Entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to derive well-founded recommendations for action from financial data
- Motivated to progress toward a commercial/financial leadership role
