About the role
- Own the product strategy and roadmap for systems that power inventory allocation, order release workflows, and fulfillment and delivery logic, including automatic order content adjustments, allocation rules, and over-max or oversell protections. Oversee the evolution of internal tooling that enables these capabilities.
- Partner closely with Engineering, Data Science, and Operations to translate complex operational rules into scalable product solutions. Define requirements, drive prioritization, and deliver system improvements that increase reliability, automation, and operational efficiency across the fulfillment lifecycle.
- Identify structural system risks and inefficiencies, and lead cross-functional efforts to resolve root causes — not just symptoms.
- Establish clear monitoring, alerting, and visibility frameworks to proactively manage inventory health, demand overage, and customer risk.
- Facilitate alignment and decision-making when tradeoffs arise between technical feasibility, operational complexity, and business impact.
- Publish structured updates and maintain clear documentation to ensure transparency around priorities, risks, and system changes.
- Continually integrate AI processes into your workflow and into system wide solutions for Operations and Fulfillment

- Demonstrated ability to prioritize across competing initiatives with clear business judgment and risk awareness.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a structured, clear approach to problem-solving.
- Comfort operating in ambiguity and driving alignment across cross-functional stakeholders.
- Experience with inventory, fulfillment, marketplace, subscription, or logistics-driven businesses is a plus
