Making architecture decisions and explaining them clearly to a distributed international team

Requirements

What you’ll need

Strong grasp of algorithms and data structures, applied in performance-critical production contexts
Deep hands-on experience with performance-critical .NET — multithreading, memory management, allocation optimisation, GC tuning, and use of Span and structs
Proven experience in trading, fintech, HFT, or low-latency/real-time systems
Track record of making real architecture decisions in production environments, not just implementing requirements
Experience mentoring other developers and elevating team engineering standards
Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical field
Fluent English — spoken and written, with the ability to clearly articulate technical decisions on calls with a distributed team
Available for at least 4 hours of overlap with 9AM–5PM EST
