About the role

  • Own and improve quality across a large-scale OTT streaming platform
  • Ensure features behave exactly as expected before and after production
  • Challenge requirements during Epic and Story refinements
  • Hands-on feature testing in development environments
  • Release gatekeeping on staging with clear GO/NO-GO recommendations
  • Design and maintain automated tests using Maestro framework for Android and Apple apps
  • Act as the first QA triage point for production issues
  • Maintain test cases in Testwil
  • Monitor production health using analytics and exploratory testing
  • Keep bug backlogs clean and actionable

Requirements

  • Proven experience in QA roles with end-to-end responsibility for quality
  • Strong hands-on testing mindset combined with automation ownership
  • Ability to work autonomously and make quality decisions independently
  • Experience working in Scrum/Agile environments embedded within development teams
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with developers and Product Owners
  • Ability to challenge unclear requirements and identify edge cases early
  • Experience validating release scope, performing smoke tests, and providing release recommendations
  • Capability to analyze production issues and triage whether they are bugs, improvements, or expected behavior
  • Experience creating and maintaining test cases and keeping bug backlogs organized
  • Availability to work during Swiss working hours
  • Good English proficiency (written and spoken)
