About the role

  • You'll design and analyze innovative mechanical systems and components for integrated drives
  • Design and optimize mechanical components using SolidWorks
  • Create simulation models (thermal, electrical, kinematic)
  • Perform ANSYS-based structural and thermal analysis
  • Develop testing platforms and fixtures
  • Conduct performance and vibration testing
  • Validate algorithms in Matlab, Simulink, or Python
  • Apply thermodynamic concepts to design high-power-density systems
  • Collaborate closely with electronics, software, and manufacturing teams to ensure seamless integration

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering (preferably with focus on Structural Engineering, Machine Design, Vibrations, or Thermal)
  • Proven experience in mechanical design and simulation (3+ years preferred for mid-level candidates)
  • Hands-on expertise with CAD tools, specifically SolidWorks
  • Strong proficiency with simulation tools: ANSYS, FEA (Finite Element Analysis), and CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics)
  • Solid foundation in thermal analysis and thermodynamic concepts
  • Programming skills in Matlab, Simulink, and Python (scripting or automation knowledge is a plus)
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving mindset with ability to approach multidisciplinary engineering challenges
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work across electronics, software, and manufacturing teams
  • Strong knowledge of spoken and written English (B2 Upper Intermediate minimum)
