About the role
- You'll design and analyze innovative mechanical systems and components for integrated drives
- Design and optimize mechanical components using SolidWorks
- Create simulation models (thermal, electrical, kinematic)
- Perform ANSYS-based structural and thermal analysis
- Develop testing platforms and fixtures
- Conduct performance and vibration testing
- Validate algorithms in Matlab, Simulink, or Python
- Apply thermodynamic concepts to design high-power-density systems
- Collaborate closely with electronics, software, and manufacturing teams to ensure seamless integration
Requirements
- Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering (preferably with focus on Structural Engineering, Machine Design, Vibrations, or Thermal)
- Proven experience in mechanical design and simulation (3+ years preferred for mid-level candidates)
- Hands-on expertise with CAD tools, specifically SolidWorks
- Strong proficiency with simulation tools: ANSYS, FEA (Finite Element Analysis), and CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics)
- Solid foundation in thermal analysis and thermodynamic concepts
- Programming skills in Matlab, Simulink, and Python (scripting or automation knowledge is a plus)
- Critical thinking and problem-solving mindset with ability to approach multidisciplinary engineering challenges
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work across electronics, software, and manufacturing teams
- Strong knowledge of spoken and written English (B2 Upper Intermediate minimum)
