About the role
- Drive capability documentation, analysis, and platform rationalization for a large-scale modernization and automation initiative
- Structure a capability framework at Level 1–2 granularity
- Assess redundancy, platform fit, and retirement opportunities across platforms
- Elicit requirements and document business processes; write capability briefs (what, why, who, how)
- Map user personas and roles; translate monolithic role structures into future state, role-based models
- Partner with UX teams to apply a user-centric lens to capability analysis
- Compare platforms (Salesforce, Pega, proprietary systems) and partner with tech leads on rationalization decisions
- Support forms modernization and citizen-developer/low-code initiatives
- Use Jira, Confluence, Excel, PowerPoint; leverage Jira Product Discovery for backlog hydration and visualization
- Facilitate stakeholder discussions and present findings to guide platform decisions
Requirements
- 7+ years in business analysis, capability modeling, or enterprise product management
- Strong background in platform rationalization and process/documentation design
- Experience in persona mapping and role-based system transitions
- Familiarity with low-code/no-code platforms (e.g., Pega, Salesforce, Appian, Power Apps)
- Proficiency with Jira and Confluence
- Exposure to Jira Product Discovery (for backlog hydration and visualization)
- Ability to translate complex technical data into clear, business-ready insights
- Strong facilitation and stakeholder management skills
- Exposure to UX research methods and ability to apply a user-centric lens to capability analysis
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Comfortable comparing platforms (Salesforce, Pega, proprietary systems) and partnering with tech leads on rationalization decisions
- Familiarity with forms modernization and citizen-developer models
- VISA: USC/GC Only (must be U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder)
- Comfortable working on W2 basis
- Comfortable with pay rate ranging from $60 to $65 per hour on a W2 basis
- Preferred: Experience in financial services or regulated industries
- Preferred: Background in modernization and automation initiatives (AI/ML exposure a plus)
- Preferred: Familiarity with large-scale platform consolidation projects
