About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Grow and invest in your skills, capabilities, and career, by delivering occupational therapy services to school-based children across the nation
- Huddle up with school instructors and experienced clinical mentors to deliver outstanding occupational therapy services to children in need
- Complete documentation and participate in IEP and team meetings, serve as a case manager or process coordinator
- Develop your skills, career, and expertise within a supportive team-based environment
- Provide telehealth services to a diverse population of school aged children
Requirements
What you’ll need- Able to commit to at least 15 hours per week and up to 40 hours per week
- Hold an active, unrestricted, and valid OT license in your state of residence, and Arizona, in good standing
- Full-time resident of the United States
- School experience or experience working with school aged pediatric population
- Experience conducting virtual sessions
- Experience and comfortability with the use of various types of technology
- Follow Huddle Up documentation guidelines for evaluation reports and daily SOAP notes
- Participate in IEP and team meetings, serve as a case manager or process coordinator
- Prepare progress reports as requested by the school and complete medicaid billing if necessary
- Access to a laptop (not chromebook) to conduct sessions virtually
