About the role

  • You will work on web and app development for one of Germany’s largest news brands
  • You will work closely with the editorial team
  • You will be part of an agile, cross-functional team including developers, QA engineers, designers, and product managers
  • You and your team will be responsible for a news product across web and mobile platforms
  • You will share your knowledge and experience with colleagues and other developers

Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science or a related field (Statistics, Mathematics, Business Informatics, etc.), or equivalent professional experience
  • Experience developing web and cross-platform (iOS and Android) mobile applications, ideally in a similar role
  • Excellent knowledge of React, React Native, Next.js, and TypeScript
  • Experience with digital storytelling content-creation tools (such as pageflow.io, shorthand.com, or vev.design) is a plus
  • Strong communication skills and a willingness to work in agile teams
