About the role

  • Responsible for the operational controlling of a selected business unit at Hubert Burda Media
  • Act as the point of contact for the respective department head on all controlling matters
  • Monthly preparation of company results and reporting to management
  • Support for quarterly and annual financial closings and regular preparation of a reconciliation between FI and CO
  • Preparation of variance analyses and development of measures in collaboration with the departments
  • Preparation of the operational annual plan and periodic forecasts
  • Contribute to the further development of existing controlling tools
  • Implementation of business and financial projects
  • Investment calculations and profitability analyses

Requirements

  • Successfully completed degree in business administration with a focus on Controlling/Finance or equivalent qualification
  • Relevant professional experience in Controlling/Finance
  • Very good MS Office skills, especially MS Excel
  • Knowledge of SAP FI/CO and experience with BI tools are an advantage
  • Excellent analytical and conceptual skills
  • Reliable and independent working style
  • Strong communication skills and high social competence
