About the role

  • You will be the driving force behind the news section of Finanzen100 and shape how we reach our users with relevant financial and stock market content — and retain them for the long term
  • With a keen sense for financial topics, market trends and sentiment — including insights from our experts and partner media — you will further develop the news area of the Finanzen100 app and identify successful formats
  • You will spot opportunities in real time, develop efficient workflows and expand topic areas that unlock new reach potential for Finanzen100 and create relevance
  • Together with the adjacent news teams at BurdaForward, you will build new visibility for financial content on Google Discover, social media and other external channels
  • Through KPI tracking (including page views, time on page, CTR) you will get to know our users better and turn data analysis into a successful content strategy

Requirements

  • A genuine interest in financial and economic topics, stock and market news and the broader economic context
  • Editorial experience and a strong instinct for presenting even complex financial topics in a way that is understandable, engaging and delivers clear value
  • Confidence working with financial metrics, company reports and charts — and the ability to derive actionable insights for our users
  • Solid knowledge of digital distribution, audience strategies and content optimization
  • A strong openness to new technologies — especially the use of AI to make processes smarter and more fluid
