About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Functions as the analytical subject matter in strategy meetings with Account Executive and Producer
  • Supports renewal analysis, benchmarking, and contribution modeling
  • Addresses carrier questions during Market Analysis process
  • Conducts the Market Analysis process
  • Organizes and tracks carrier and vendor bids
  • Reviews insurance bids for compliance with specifications
  • Supports plan change tracking, rate negotiations, renewal analysis, benchmarking
  • Creates and updates templates, timelines, exhibits, and presentation-ready reports

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School / GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 2-4 years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education & experience
  • Must hold a valid CA Life Agent license
  • Ability to effectively and professionally communicate orally and in writing with internal and external customers.
  • Computer Skills: proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, advanced skills in Excel; Project Management software and Database software preferred.
