About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Oversee day-to-day branch operations including scheduling, performance monitoring, and ensuring the branch runs efficiently and professionally
  • Drive revenue growth and profitability by holding the branch accountable to KPIs across top-line growth, contribution, compensation management, and client engagement
  • Build and sustain a sales culture by reviewing goals with the team, identifying opportunities to cross-sell and upsell, and leading by example
  • Manage client escalations and complaints, seeking resolution between clients, staff, and insurance companies
  • Coach, train, and develop branch staff, including onboarding new hires and identifying performance barriers
  • Monitor employee performance and provide regular reporting to regional leadership
  • Ensure receivables are current and branch administrative processes are running to standard
  • Maintain current knowledge of insurance products across auto, personal lines, and commercial lines to support staff day-to-day
  • Maintain licensing in good standing, including attending continuing education as required

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years of insurance industry experience
  • Level 2 insurance licensing required, with a CAIB designation highly valued
  • Demonstrated experience in a people leadership or branch management role
  • Experience working across organizational or functional boundaries
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills with solid business acumen
  • Excellent relationship-building skills with a genuine client service orientation
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Post-secondary education in Business Administration is an asset
