About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide strategic leadership, operational oversight, and people development across a portfolio of branch locations
Drive business performance and ensure a consistent and high-quality client experience
Build strong, engaged teams and support team members in reaching their highest performance potential
Execute an annual regional business plan with a focus on new business growth and client retention
Monitor P&L statements and take corrective action as needed to ensure performance targets are met
Actively engage in the local business and industry community to build a network
Champion a culture of client excellence and continued learning across the region

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum 5 years of insurance brokerage experience
Minimum 3 years of experience managing or leading a department or branch
Level 2 General Insurance License required
Industry designations (CAIB, CIP, FCIP, or CRM) considered an asset
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize effectively across multiple locations
High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team
