About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manages all aspects of the account-service process.
Works closely with Producers and other HUB personnel on all aspects of client service, marketing, and renewal.
Acquires understanding of clients’ business and insurance objectives.
Establishes and maintains strong business relationships with clients and insurance carriers.
Serves as client point of contact for eligibility, claims, billing and benefit administration inquiries.
Maintains accurate and organized account files.
Seeks continued knowledge of changes in the insurance industry.
Makes recommendations in response to changes.
Prepares and conducts presentations.
Partners with producer(s) to develop and implement clients’ benefits strategies.

Requirements

What you’ll need

High School Diploma / GED; College degree strongly preferred
3-5 years of benefit insurance related experience (brokerage preferred) or equivalent combination of education & experience
Life & Health License or willingness to obtain within 3 months
Ability to effectively and professionally communicate orally and in writing with internal and external customers.
Critical Thinking: Ability to identify strengths and weaknesses of solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.
Ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships; work effectively with insurance and service vendors.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook and agency management systems.
