Commercial Lines Insurance Account Manager, Small Business Unit

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage a book of insurance business with independent discretion
- Provide service to clients, carrier representatives, and HUB colleagues
- Support Producers in obtaining and maintaining business
- Oversee transactions and paperwork for assigned accounts
- Analyze and compare insurance plans for clients
- Resolve escalated complex service issues and negotiate with underwriters
- Troubleshoot claims and billing issues
- Develop new business from existing accounts and identify cross-selling opportunities
- Document conversations and update HUB systems as needed
- Travel on company business as required
Requirements
What you’ll need- At least 3 years of experience in an insurance account management role
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Excellent oral and written English communications skills
- Superior customer service and problem solving skills
- Demonstrated proficiency with computer systems, including Microsoft Office
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Currently Licensed in good standing in required lines and states
- Current with all necessary CE credits in required lines and states
