About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide professional, courteous service to customers, producers, and company personnel
Respond promptly and professionally to the service needs of insureds
Provide clerical and technical support to Producers to benefit clients and agency's strategic business goals
Assist producer in adding coverages to existing accounts
Produce quote requests, spreadsheets and other related items while verifying their accuracy
Prepare summaries of insurance and proposals as needed for account review
Remarket renewals, contact clients, create renewal proposals and handle other renewal activities
Adhere to all Agency systems, procedures and state regulations
Communicate effectively orally and in writing
Oversee functions performed by Assistant CSSs

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree required
Life, Accident and Health Insurance License required
1-2 years of relevant experience; insurance industry required
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Good written and oral communication skills
Strong organizational and time management skills
