About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage a book of Personal Lines including High net-worth/Private Client insurance business
  • Provide professional, courteous service to clients, carrier representatives, underwriters, business partners, and HUB colleagues
  • Provides a high level of support to Producers in obtaining, maintaining, and expanding business
  • Responsible for account rounding and the development of new business when appropriate
  • Make decisions on books of insurance business
  • Work closely with Producers and other HUB personnel on client service, marketing, and renewal
  • Oversee the preparation and implementation of all transactions, paperwork, and internal processing for assigned accounts
  • Acquire understanding of clients’ insurance objectives and analyze insurance plans for suitability
  • Stay abreast of changes in the insurance industry and make appropriate recommendations to clients
  • Act as liaison between clients and insurance carriers to resolve escalated complex service issues
  • May negotiate with underwriters and carriers
  • Troubleshoot claims and billing issues
  • Responsible for overall retention of accounts
  • Develop new business from existing accounts and assigned leads
  • Identify cross-selling opportunities
  • Manage and conduct client meetings when necessary
  • Document conversations with clients and carrier representatives and update HUB computer systems
  • Ensure accuracy of data in systems
  • Travel on company business as required
  • Prepare reports for management as required
  • Attend industry related continuing education training and courses
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Excellent oral and written English communications skills.
  • Superior customer service and problem solving skills.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with computer systems, including but not limited to Microsoft Office and automated agency management systems.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to work a regular, full-time work schedule at HUB’s facility(s) and ability to travel on business when required.
  • Required Experience: 2-5 years of relevant experience
  • Required Travel: Negligible
  • Required Education: High school or equivalent
