About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage a book of Personal Lines including High net-worth/Private Client insurance business
- Provide professional, courteous service to clients, carrier representatives, underwriters, business partners, and HUB colleagues
- Provides a high level of support to Producers in obtaining, maintaining, and expanding business
- Responsible for account rounding and the development of new business when appropriate
- Make decisions on books of insurance business
- Work closely with Producers and other HUB personnel on client service, marketing, and renewal
- Oversee the preparation and implementation of all transactions, paperwork, and internal processing for assigned accounts
- Acquire understanding of clients’ insurance objectives and analyze insurance plans for suitability
- Stay abreast of changes in the insurance industry and make appropriate recommendations to clients
- Act as liaison between clients and insurance carriers to resolve escalated complex service issues
- May negotiate with underwriters and carriers
- Troubleshoot claims and billing issues
- Responsible for overall retention of accounts
- Develop new business from existing accounts and assigned leads
- Identify cross-selling opportunities
- Manage and conduct client meetings when necessary
- Document conversations with clients and carrier representatives and update HUB computer systems
- Ensure accuracy of data in systems
- Travel on company business as required
- Prepare reports for management as required
- Attend industry related continuing education training and courses
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Excellent oral and written English communications skills.
- Superior customer service and problem solving skills.
- Demonstrated proficiency with computer systems, including but not limited to Microsoft Office and automated agency management systems.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to work a regular, full-time work schedule at HUB’s facility(s) and ability to travel on business when required.
- Required Experience: 2-5 years of relevant experience
- Required Travel: Negligible
- Required Education: High school or equivalent
