Talent Acquisition Intern
HUB InternationalTalent Acquisition Intern supporting recruitment for entry and mid-level roles at HUB International. Collaborating with hiring managers and candidates to enhance the hiring process.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support full-cycle recruitment for entry and mid-level roles, including: Sitting in on intake meetings with hiring managers
- Post job openings, screen applications and conducting initial phone interviews
- Conduct candidate sourcing via LinkedIn and other channels
- Help communicate career opportunities to candidates and support a positive candidate experience
- Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers
- Support preparation and distribution of offer letters.
- Help maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Support HUB's Employee Referral Program administration.
- Other duties and projects as assigned.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Currently enrolled in, or recently graduated from, a diploma or degree program in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Some exposure to HR or recruitment concepts through coursework, co-op, or volunteer experience is an asset.
- Familiarity with ATS platforms or social media sourcing (LinkedIn, Indeed) is an asset.
- Knowledge of HR best practices and awareness of the Employment Standards Act and Human Rights Legislation is an asset.
- Proven ability to handle sensitive information with discretion, sound judgment, and confidentiality.
- Exceptional attention to detail with strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Reliable team player who can organize and manage multiple priorities at a time.
