About the role

  • Develop and maintain automation frameworks for API, UI and integration testing
  • Create and execute automated tests using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium and Postman
  • Ensure broad test coverage (functional, regression and performance)
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins)
  • Run performance and load tests (JMeter, k6, Gatling)
  • Identify bottlenecks and recommend performance and scalability improvements
  • Support security testing initiatives (OWASP, pentests, API validation)
  • Define and evolve QA standards and best practices
  • Promote a shift-left testing culture
  • Work with the team using TDD and BDD practices
  • Create and maintain test dashboards and quality metrics
  • Collaborate with developers, PMs and QAs
  • Act consultatively to prevent incidents
  • Actively participate in agile ceremonies

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in test automation in agile environments
  • Experience with frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright or Appium
  • Programming in at least one language: Python, JavaScript, Java or C#
  • Experience with CI/CD (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps or Jenkins)
  • Experience with API testing (REST/GraphQL)
  • Knowledge of tools such as Postman or RestAssured
  • Experience with performance testing (JMeter, k6 or Gatling)
  • Knowledge of databases (SQL and NoSQL)
  • Familiarity with security concepts (OWASP, vulnerability testing, API security)
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP)
  • Fluent English
  • Experience with Kubernetes and containerized environments
  • Experience with contract testing (Pact, Spring Cloud Contract)
  • Knowledge of AI-driven test automation
  • Experience in fintech, payments or complex platforms
  • ISTQB certification
