About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Own the end-to-end engineering process from architecture and design through development, deployment, and continuous operation
Lead, grow, and hire a team of developers through 1:1s, growth plans, performance evaluations, feedback, and interviews
Participate in planning, estimation, and roadmap discussions aligned with business objectives
Collaborate with the Head of Product, Product Managers, Tech-Lead, and Marketing to deliver initiatives
Own delivery discipline, including predictable execution, fast release cycles, preview environments, CI/CD, and backlog management
Drive web performance and technical SEO for high-traffic, multi-locale websites
Run A/B testing, analytics, and conversion-rate optimization with Product and Marketing
Ensure product stability and reliability through observability measures
Conduct code reviews and remain hands-on in the codebase
Accelerate AI adoption through agentic coding workflows, AI-assisted tooling, and LLM-powered product initiatives
Cultivate collaboration, teamwork, and knowledge sharing

Requirements

What you’ll need

Leadership experience as a team lead or manager, including hiring, mentoring, and performance management
Track record of improving team delivery, throughput, predictability, or time-to-ship
Experience with high-traffic, multi-locale consumer web products
Extensive JavaScript/TypeScript experience
Strong knowledge of at least one modern frontend framework; Vue and Nuxt with SSR are bonuses
Strong understanding of app state management, including Redux or NgRx; Vuex and Pinia are bonuses
Fluency in Core Web Vitals, technical SEO, analytics, experimentation tooling, GA4, and Amplitude
Experience designing system architectures
Experience with HTML5, CSS3, SASS, and Git
Understanding of code design, unit testing, and end-to-end testing practices and tools
Hands-on daily use of AI/agentic engineering tools
Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills
Business-impact mindset focused on conversion, revenue, and user outcomes
Ability to work proactively in a fast-paced environment
Bonus: backend/full-stack competence with Node.js/NestJS
Bonus: infrastructure literacy with Kubernetes, Terraform, GCP/AWS, or Cloudflare
Bonus: experience building LLM-powered features
