About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide both administrative and clinical oversight to a team of Admission Clinicians responsible for the preliminary assessment and intake of individuals into Horizon Behavioral Health's service portfolios
Coordinate with community stakeholders that provide referrals
Responsible for triage during Open Access hours
Primarily works on-site but will have some opportunities for remote work depending on program needs

Requirements

What you’ll need

Master’s Degree from a program that prepares individuals to practice counseling (60-hr Master’s Program) offered by an accredited college or university
Two years of post-licensure clinical experience
One year of supervisory experience, preferably in a mental health setting
Licensed Mental Health Professional (LMHP), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
Knowledge of the principles, procedures, techniques, trends, and literature related to mental health, developmental disabilities and substance abuse
Knowledge of clinical supervision requirements and techniques
Knowledge of treatment modalities and intervention techniques such as behavior management, independent living skills, training, supportive counseling, family education, crisis intervention, discharge planning and service coordination
Knowledge of psychiatric/medical medications/treatments
Ability to develop and maintain therapeutic relationships
Ability to drive and must possess a valid driver’s license.
