About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Partner with executive leadership to develop and execute financial strategies that support growth and operational goals
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, financial modeling, and scenario analysis
- Develop and improve key performance indicators (KPIs) to provide visibility into financial and operational performance
- Translate financial data into actionable insights that guide business decisions
- Drive improvements in forecasting accuracy, reporting capabilities, and strategic planning processes
- Oversee accounting, reporting, treasury, tax, cash management, and financial analysis functions
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with GAAP standards
- Manage financial processes that support efficiency, scalability, and business growth
- Oversee financial statements, cash flow reporting, and performance analysis
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, controls, and operational effectiveness
- Support evaluation of strategic growth opportunities, including acquisitions, investments, and expansion initiatives
- Lead financial analysis, due diligence, modeling, and integration planning for potential transactions
- Partner with leadership on capital allocation decisions and investment strategies
- Manage relationships with financial partners, lenders, and external stakeholders
- Identify financial and operational risks and implement mitigation strategies
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, audit requirements, and reporting standards
- Manage relationships with external auditors and financial institutions
- Build and lead a high-performing finance organization focused on accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
- Establish clear goals, expectations, and development opportunities for finance team members
- Foster strong cross-functional partnerships across the organization
- Oversee financial systems, reporting tools, and technology initiatives
- Identify opportunities to leverage automation, analytics, and emerging technologies to improve efficiency
- Support enhancements to financial systems, reporting capabilities, and data-driven decision-making
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field required
- MBA, Master's degree, CPA, and/or CFA preferred
- 10+ years of progressive finance leadership experience
- 3+ years in a senior finance leadership role such as CFO, VP Finance, or similar executive position
- Experience leading FP&A, forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning initiatives
- Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, integrations, or other major growth initiatives
- Experience managing complex, fast-growing organizations
- Experience within a private equity-backed or investor-supported environment preferred
