About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Partner with executive leadership to develop and execute financial strategies that support growth and operational goals
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, financial modeling, and scenario analysis
  • Develop and improve key performance indicators (KPIs) to provide visibility into financial and operational performance
  • Translate financial data into actionable insights that guide business decisions
  • Drive improvements in forecasting accuracy, reporting capabilities, and strategic planning processes
  • Oversee accounting, reporting, treasury, tax, cash management, and financial analysis functions
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with GAAP standards
  • Manage financial processes that support efficiency, scalability, and business growth
  • Oversee financial statements, cash flow reporting, and performance analysis
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, controls, and operational effectiveness
  • Support evaluation of strategic growth opportunities, including acquisitions, investments, and expansion initiatives
  • Lead financial analysis, due diligence, modeling, and integration planning for potential transactions
  • Partner with leadership on capital allocation decisions and investment strategies
  • Manage relationships with financial partners, lenders, and external stakeholders
  • Identify financial and operational risks and implement mitigation strategies
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, audit requirements, and reporting standards
  • Manage relationships with external auditors and financial institutions
  • Build and lead a high-performing finance organization focused on accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
  • Establish clear goals, expectations, and development opportunities for finance team members
  • Foster strong cross-functional partnerships across the organization
  • Oversee financial systems, reporting tools, and technology initiatives
  • Identify opportunities to leverage automation, analytics, and emerging technologies to improve efficiency
  • Support enhancements to financial systems, reporting capabilities, and data-driven decision-making

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field required
  • MBA, Master's degree, CPA, and/or CFA preferred
  • 10+ years of progressive finance leadership experience
  • 3+ years in a senior finance leadership role such as CFO, VP Finance, or similar executive position
  • Experience leading FP&A, forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning initiatives
  • Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, integrations, or other major growth initiatives
  • Experience managing complex, fast-growing organizations
  • Experience within a private equity-backed or investor-supported environment preferred
