About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead and manage calibration activities for the Inertial Sensor Assembly to ensure accuracy and reliability
  • Develop, maintain, and improve test stations and calibration software
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support hardware and software integration throughout the calibration process
  • Write and execute software scripts to automate calibration and testing processes
  • Document calibration procedures and ensure compliance with industry standards
  • Provide technical support and training to team members as needed
  • Train test technicians and maintain/create Test Instructions

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, or mathematics
  • Industry experience in a hardware engineering and/or test engineering role
  • Understanding of software and hardware integration in testing environments
  • Knowledge of test stations and calibration software applications
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey technical information
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality and accuracy
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • Must be a US Citizen due to contractual requirements
  • Experience in calibration procedures for Inertial Sensor Assemblies or similar systems
  • Proficiency in MATLAB for data analysis and software development
  • Experience with Thermal Rate Tables and Test Stations
  • Familiarity with Python, C++, and Arduino
  • Prior experience in aerospace or electrical engineering industries
