About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead and manage calibration activities for the Inertial Sensor Assembly to ensure accuracy and reliability
- Develop, maintain, and improve test stations and calibration software
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support hardware and software integration throughout the calibration process
- Write and execute software scripts to automate calibration and testing processes
- Document calibration procedures and ensure compliance with industry standards
- Provide technical support and training to team members as needed
- Train test technicians and maintain/create Test Instructions
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, or mathematics
- Industry experience in a hardware engineering and/or test engineering role
- Understanding of software and hardware integration in testing environments
- Knowledge of test stations and calibration software applications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey technical information
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality and accuracy
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Must be a US Citizen due to contractual requirements
- Experience in calibration procedures for Inertial Sensor Assemblies or similar systems
- Proficiency in MATLAB for data analysis and software development
- Experience with Thermal Rate Tables and Test Stations
- Familiarity with Python, C++, and Arduino
- Prior experience in aerospace or electrical engineering industries
