About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead and manage complex engineering projects from initiation to completion
  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders
  • Own project scope and baseline change requests
  • Develop and implement project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
  • Lead RFI/RFP responses, including financial estimates, SOW and specification compliance matrices, and technical volume
  • Coordinate and communicate with cross-functional teams
  • Monitor project progress and adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards
  • Perform Earned Value Management
  • Identify and mitigate risks and issues affecting project delivery
  • Provide technical guidance and support to project team members
  • Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders
  • Support customers and supply Honeywell systems within the Aerospace Advanced Electromechanical Solutions division

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 7+ years of experience in project engineering or related roles
  • Proven track record of delivering complex engineering projects on time and within budget
  • Strong leadership and project management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Experience in risk management and problem-solving
  • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies
  • Technical expertise in the relevant engineering discipline
  • Experience leading development programs for major aerospace systems
  • Experience with vapor cycle refrigerant systems
  • Experience with Earned Value Management
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams
  • Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Adaptability and flexibility to manage changing project requirements

  • PMP Certification
