About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead and manage complex engineering projects from initiation to completion
Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders
Own project scope and baseline change requests
Develop and implement project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
Lead RFI/RFP responses, including financial estimates, SOW and specification compliance matrices, and technical volume
Coordinate and communicate with cross-functional teams
Monitor project progress and adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards
Perform Earned Value Management
Identify and mitigate risks and issues affecting project delivery
Provide technical guidance and support to project team members
Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders
Support customers and supply Honeywell systems within the Aerospace Advanced Electromechanical Solutions division

Requirements

What you’ll need

7+ years of experience in project engineering or related roles
Proven track record of delivering complex engineering projects on time and within budget
Strong leadership and project management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Experience in risk management and problem-solving
Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies
Technical expertise in the relevant engineering discipline
Experience leading development programs for major aerospace systems
Experience with vapor cycle refrigerant systems
Experience with Earned Value Management
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams
Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
Adaptability and flexibility to manage changing project requirements
Passion for innovation and continuous learning
PMP Certification
MS Office mastery
Understanding of Requirements V&V Process
Active Security Clearance
