About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead system architecture, design, and integration for complex aerospace systems
Drive end-to-end systems engineering activities, including requirements flow-down, design, verification, and validation
Provide technical leadership across:
Control systems integration
Test and development equipment
Field issue investigation and resolution
Collaborate effectively with:
Multidisciplinary engineering teams
Program and project management organizations
Internal and external stakeholders and customers
Ensure designs align with Honeywell Aerospace quality standards and industry best practices
Own technical problem-solving efforts, delivering innovative and scalable solutions

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics.
Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical systems engineering
Proven experience leading complex system integration projects
Strong background in verification & validation (V&V) processes
Knowledge of the full product development lifecycle
Demonstrated ability to:
Analyze and apply new technologies quickly
Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Make sound, independent technical decisions
Experience working with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams
Passion for innovation, continuous learning, and problem-solving
Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization.
