About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead system architecture, design, and integration for complex aerospace systems
- Drive end-to-end systems engineering activities, including requirements flow-down, design, verification, and validation
- Provide technical leadership across:
- Control systems integration
- Test and development equipment
- Field issue investigation and resolution
- Collaborate effectively with:
- Multidisciplinary engineering teams
- Program and project management organizations
- Internal and external stakeholders and customers
- Ensure designs align with Honeywell Aerospace quality standards and industry best practices
- Own technical problem-solving efforts, delivering innovative and scalable solutions
- Translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable insights for diverse audiences
- Support project execution, ensuring scope, schedule, and performance targets are met
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical systems engineering
- Proven experience leading complex system integration projects
- Strong background in verification & validation (V&V) processes
- Knowledge of the full product development lifecycle
- Demonstrated ability to:
- Analyze and apply new technologies quickly
- Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Make sound, independent technical decisions
- Experience working with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams
- Passion for innovation, continuous learning, and problem-solving
- Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization.
