About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Monitor, maintain, and drive execution of the Network Engineering department’s priority list, ensuring initiatives stay on track and roadblocks are surfaced early.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for communication and follow-up with other departments, keeping cross-functional work aligned and moving.
- Own project management for corporate goals tied to Network Engineering, tracking milestones, timelines, and deliverables.
- Manage the engineering ticketing queue, including oversight of staffing levels and performance across the queue.
- Communicate directly with building stakeholders (building owners, property managers) and internal team members regarding network performance improvements, outages, and ongoing issues.
- Act as a liaison between engineering leadership and other parts of the organization to ensure consistent, timely, and information flow.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, Operations, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Exceptional work ethic with a strong sense of ownership—you take initiative, follow through, and care about delivering high-quality work.
- Highly organized with outstanding attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills with a willingness to learn technical concepts quickly.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical issues for non-technical stakeholders (e.g., building owners/stakeholders).
- Experience in telecommunications, ISP, networking, project management, or technical operations is a plus, but not required.
