About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Instruct students off campus at our clinical sites and/or in a lab setting
  • Promote a positive learning environment and work collaboratively to assure full instruction of the clinical component of the curriculum
  • Create a high level of student engagement by planning the student clinical experience
  • Supervise and orient students to the clinical site as well as to all applicable policies and procedures
  • Evaluate each student’s achievement and progress, providing valuable feedback
  • Participate as a member of the Faculty Organization and Campus Curriculum Committees

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • A Master's degree in Nursing is required
  • Two or more years full-time work experience as a RN (or part-time equivalent)
  • Active Ohio RN license that has never been encumbered
  • Ability to provide official transcripts for each degree earned from an accredited institution
  • Current (or ability to obtain) American Heart Association compliant Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Completion of key credentialing requirements for clinical placements prior to being cleared for start
