About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Product design across HomeStory’s platform — search, agent matching, loan officer tools, homebuyer experiences
Marketing materials, landing pages, and co-branded campaigns for national lender partners
Design research and usability testing to make sure what we’re building actually works
Data visualizations that make complex mortgage and real estate information digestible
Strategic design input on new product initiatives — we want your opinion, not just your output

Requirements

What you’ll need

A portfolio that shows you can think through a problem, not just style one
Figma proficiency
Hands-on experience with AI tools: Figma AI, Claude (Cowork / Code), Cursor, or equivalent
Responsive web design experience
Someone who brings a point of view, and can back it up in a room with stakeholders
Thick skin for feedback and a bias toward action
Nice to have: B2B2C or enterprise product experience, systems and component thinking, prototyping, visual design.
