About the role

  • You support our buyers in assortment planning and all purchasing-related tasks for the respective product category.
  • You are responsible for direct communication with our suppliers.
  • You guide new suppliers through the onboarding process, including contract preparation.
  • You support your team during supplier meetings and, where applicable, at industry-relevant trade fairs.
  • You are responsible for preparing and maintaining product master data and our merchandise management system.
  • You manage the product information that our customers need to make purchasing decisions.

Requirements

  • You have completed commercial training (e.g., apprenticeship) or an equivalent qualification.
  • Preferably, you have already gained experience in purchasing, retail, or sales—ideally in the furniture sector.
  • You have a good sense for trends and a strong passion for stylish home living.
  • You have solid PC skills and are confident using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
  • You work independently, efficiently, and conscientiously.
  • You have business-fluent German and good (min. B1) English skills.
