About the role

  • You take on part of the operational and strategic management of the outlet’s warehouse area and ensure smooth processes
  • You coordinate and oversee incoming deliveries — from receipt and assembly to placement on the sales floor
  • You manage and optimize the returns area for parcel shipments and large furniture items
  • You organize the assembly and preparation of furniture for the sales floor and are willing to pitch in and help on the shop floor
  • You create duty rosters for your warehouse team and foster a positive, motivating working atmosphere
  • Using relevant KPIs (e.g., throughput times, return rate) you control the warehouse, analyze efficiency and derive appropriate measures in case of deviations
  • You contribute your own ideas to continuously improve our processes and the working environment
  • You coordinate regularly with site and store management to ensure optimal integration between the warehouse and the sales floor

Requirements

  • You have several years of professional experience in logistics or a trade, ideally in the furniture or retail sector
  • You have prior experience leading teams and enjoy motivating and developing your team members
  • You are highly organized with a structured, independent way of working and a pronounced hands-on mentality
  • You are strong in communication, enjoy collaborating with different departments and know how to steer processes using key metrics
  • You critically question existing processes, contribute proactively and have good IT/computer skills
