About the role
- Lead a high-performing team of sales professionals in the Charlotte area
- Coach, guide, and motivate sales reps to exceed goals
- Set and manage individual and team sales goals
- Oversee day-to-day team performance and activities
- Conduct in-field coaching and ride-alongs
- Develop and deliver training on product knowledge and sales techniques
- Promote company products and services through in-home demonstrations
- Assist in sales presentations and contract negotiation
- Implement performance improvement plans when needed
- Analyze and report on team metrics and benchmarks
- Travel throughout the local territory; evening and weekend availability may be required
Requirements
- Proven ability to lead a sales team and meet/exceed sales targets
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- In-home sales or direct-to-consumer experience preferred
- Willingness to travel and work in field-based environments year-round
- Ability to carry up to 35 lbs. of work-related materials
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to stand/walk for long periods and work in all weather conditions
- Evening and weekend availability as required
- Willingness to submit to a post-offer, pre-employment background check
- Legally authorized to work in the United States; sponsorship status will be asked during application
