Director of Nursing – Home Care
Home Care EvolutionRegistered Nurse providing clinical oversight, caregiver training, and community education. Focusing on geriatric care and supporting families at Dharma Home Care in a hybrid setting.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Clinical Oversight: Conduct client assessments and reassessments, develop and oversee plans of care, perform supervisory visits and clinical documentation, provide guidance during changes in condition or care concerns
- Caregiver Training & Support: Conduct CHHA competency evaluations, lead the clinical portion of caregiver orientation, support and mentor caregivers in the field
- Community Education & Outreach: Participate in lunch-and-learns, wellness talks, and community events, help educate families and referral partners on aging, dementia care, fall prevention, and aging in place
Requirements
What you’ll need- Active NJ RN license in good standing
- Experience in home care, geriatrics, hospice, rehabilitation, or case management preferred
- Comfortable with public speaking and presentations
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Compassionate, dependable, and relationship-oriented
- Reliable transportation for local travel
