Digital Strategist – Parliamentary Social Media

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Plan, produce and publish daily content (text, photo and video) aligned with the communication strategy and the parliamentary office's work.
- Cover agendas, meetings, institutional events and activities in Porto Alegre and throughout the state, with availability to travel.
- Monitor the political landscape, public debate and social media trends, identifying opportunities for real-time content production and adapting to different digital platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, among others).
- Ensure consistency of visual identity, positioning and tone of voice across all of the parliamentary office's communication channels.
- Plan and execute content strategies focused on reach, engagement and strengthening the parliamentarian's digital presence.
- Track social media performance indicators, proposing continuous improvements based on data and results.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree in Journalism, Advertising, Marketing, Social Communication, Public Relations or related fields.
- Experience in political communication, institutional communication, digital marketing or journalism.
- Experience managing social media and producing content for digital platforms.
- Excellent writing skills and strong command of Portuguese.
- Ability to plan and execute digital communication strategies.
- Agility to identify opportunities and produce real-time content.
- Knowledge of major digital platforms, their trends, formats and best practices.
- Organized, proactive and able to manage multiple demands in a dynamic environment.
- Availability to travel and cover in-person events.
