About the role

  • Partner with SSC Function Heads and ExCo members, providing financial analysis to support decision-making
  • Drive accurate month-end close, financial planning, and reporting across SSC functions, ensuring Group, Regional, and local requirements are met
  • Analyse spending patterns, identify savings opportunities, and implement cost-efficiency strategies
  • Support the annual planning cycle, validating assumptions and maintaining alignment with Holcim’s objectives
  • Build and maintain financial models, critically review balance sheet reconciliations, and safeguard data integrity
  • Lead on special projects, such as restructuring, functional initiatives, and process improvement
  • Collaborate with offshore teams in Mumbai, supporting their development and ensuring effective integration
  • Partner with senior leaders to influence key decisions and provide actionable insight

Requirements

  • Qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, ICAEW, or equivalent)
  • Experience in finance, accounting, or business partnering
  • Commercially astute with strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Stakeholder management and confident influencing at senior levels
  • Skilled in ERP (E1/SAP), reporting systems (Insight, QlikView), and advanced Excel
  • Proficient with Google and Microsoft products
  • Comfortable working in fast-changing environments; resilient, adaptable, and solutions-focused
  • Collaborative leader with integrity, accountability, and ability to empower and support remote and local teams
