About the role

  • Independently develop technical solutions for customer inquiries regarding machined hydraulic components
  • Prepare cost calculations and quotations in coordination with sales management
  • Provide technical consultation to customers on our product range
  • Follow up on quotations, e.g., by telephone
  • Manage existing customers and acquire and advise new customers, including customer visits
  • Monitor deadlines and schedules for all ongoing processes

Requirements

  • Completed vocational training as a mechanical engineering technician, CNC lathe operator, or machining mechanic
  • Professional experience in technical sales
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Strong hands-on mentality
  • Strong service orientation
  • Experience selling hydraulic products is an advantage but not required
  • Negotiation skills and determination
  • Confident user of MS Office applications; SAP experience is a plus
