About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Assist in producing and modifying design calculations, technical reports, engineering plans, and specifications for assigned projects
Perform research, development, calculations, design, and delivery in partnership with project teams
Apply engineering techniques, procedures, and design criteria to projects of varying size and complexity
Assist with project design execution and evaluation using technical knowledge and experience
Develop conceptual and detailed designs and calculations using current drawing and technical software
Complete assigned work within the provided schedule and hours
Prepare and modify portions of project reports, plans, designs, and calculations
Develop project quantities and assist with cost estimates
Assist engineering teams with organizing and administering design files
Conduct research, data collection, field investigations, development, and project design
Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 2 years of relevant experience, or Master's degree in Engineering and 1 year of relevant experience
Proficiency applying engineering, geometric, and algebraic principles
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Proficiency in MicroStation and/or AutoCAD or other required software
Visa sponsorship is not available
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
Engineer in Training (EIT) certification preferred
Knowledge of MicroStation and/or AutoCAD preferred
