About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Leads the strategic direction, execution and management of teams responsible for benefits, compensation, HR technology, HR solutions center, and HR operations programs
- Strategizes, designs and manages the execution, administration and communication of firmwide health and welfare programs
- Serves as plan administrator for the firm’s total rewards programs
- Manages relationships with external consultants, vendors, carriers and third-party administrators
- Ensures compliance of total rewards programs and practices
- Partners with internal team and benefits consultants
- Directs the planning, implementation, and administration of FMLA, leaves of absence, ADA accommodations and mandatory sick leave programs
- Regularly assess the internal equity and external competitiveness of the firm’s total reward programs
- Develops total reward programs and systems that are industry competitive
- Interacts effectively with business and human resource leaders
- Monitors trends/best practices, both internally and externally
- Oversees the development and implementation of new policies and procedures
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or related area
- 12 years relevant experience including 5 years people/project management experience overseeing total rewards functions
- Experience in benefits strategy, design, and administration for a large organization
