About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Responsible for the production and modification of design calculations, technical reports, engineering plans, and specifications
Works closely with the project manager to perform research, development, calculations, design, and delivery
Develops conceptual and detailed designs and calculations to support project execution
May mentor, train, and review work of junior engineering staff

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
4 years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree in Engineering and 3 years of relevant experience, or PhD in Engineering and 2 years of relevant experience
Professional Engineer license in New York and/or New Jersey strongly preferred
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
Experience with MicroStation and/or AutoCad
