About the role
- Continuously improve safety, productivity, and quality at the Caliper machining manufacturing site.
- Develop new models and establish standardized processes to promote the optimization of mass production.
- Improvement of Production Productivity.
- Solving major quality Issues in terms of engineering points.
- Actively participate in 5S Improvement at Shop floor.
- Complete assigned work in a timely, efficient, and effective manner.
- Standardization of line operation including documentation.
- Promote continual improvement and cost saving opportunities.
- Maintain prompt and effective communication to assure MCA success.
- Increase first pass yield by improving measurement systems and optimize machining processes.
- Investigate/mitigate risks associated to all processes by creating PFMEA and establishing control plans.
- Manage process variation by reviewing quality reports and implement corrective action for all non-compliance to ensure/maintain process control and capability.
- Support new part development by reviewing and assessing engineering drawings.
- Conducting and Managing Production line Try out to launch new model or for modification to relieve load ratio.
- Work within the guidelines and expectations of MCA Policies and Procedures.
- Perform other duties/responsibilities as assigned.
- Continuously demonstrate a positive attitude, teamwork, and cooperative behavior with colleagues and supervisors.
Requirements
- Applicants must have at least a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Understanding of GD&T for machining drawing.
- Basic knowledge for Cutting tool and Cutting conditions at Machining Field.
- Comprehensive Understanding of CNC program.
- Character which controls mindset during stressful situation.
- Character which makes good harmony with relevant Colleagues.
- Understanding of Industrial Robot (6 axis or multi-axis).
- Ability to train operators on basic line operation to achieve efficiency goals.
- Ability to draw Jig and fixture.
- Understanding of Gage system.
- Proficient in Microsoft excel and word.
- Proficient in Auto cad.
- Able to work overtime during the week and on weekends as needed.
