About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Continuously improve safety, productivity, and quality at the Caliper machining manufacturing site.
  • Develop new models and establish standardized processes to promote the optimization of mass production.
  • Improvement of Production Productivity.
  • Solving major quality Issues in terms of engineering points.
  • Actively participate in 5S Improvement at Shop floor.
  • Complete assigned work in a timely, efficient, and effective manner.
  • Standardization of line operation including documentation.
  • Promote continual improvement and cost saving opportunities.
  • Maintain prompt and effective communication to assure MCA success.
  • Increase first pass yield by improving measurement systems and optimize machining processes.
  • Investigate/mitigate risks associated to all processes by creating PFMEA and establishing control plans.
  • Manage process variation by reviewing quality reports and implement corrective action for all non-compliance to ensure/maintain process control and capability.
  • Support new part development by reviewing and assessing engineering drawings.
  • Conducting and Managing Production line Try out to launch new model or for modification to relieve load ratio.
  • Work within the guidelines and expectations of MCA Policies and Procedures.
  • Perform other duties/responsibilities as assigned.
  • Continuously demonstrate a positive attitude, teamwork, and cooperative behavior with colleagues and supervisors.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Applicants must have at least a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Understanding of GD&T for machining drawing.
  • Basic knowledge for Cutting tool and Cutting conditions at Machining Field.
  • Comprehensive Understanding of CNC program.
  • Character which controls mindset during stressful situation.
  • Character which makes good harmony with relevant Colleagues.
  • Understanding of Industrial Robot (6 axis or multi-axis).
  • Ability to train operators on basic line operation to achieve efficiency goals.
  • Ability to draw Jig and fixture.
  • Understanding of Gage system.
  • Proficient in Microsoft excel and word.
  • Proficient in Auto cad.
  • Able to work overtime during the week and on weekends as needed.
