About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Cost reduction and profitability improvement at multiple levels (product, project, portfolio, manufacturing site, entire company)
Optimization of the process landscape from order intake to delivery, with a focus on efficiency, responsibilities, governance mechanisms and the systems landscape
Development of practical, hands-on solutions: from end-to-end performance improvements to operating models, transformations and new organizational structures
Implementation directly at the client: working together with technical and executive stakeholders from engineering, procurement, manufacturing and other departments
Close collaboration and joint project management with company leadership (executive management, C-level, board)
Self-directed project work with ample opportunities for development
Contributing to the growth and development of our firm: technically, methodologically and culturally

Requirements

What you’ll need

At least 2 years’ experience in project-based work, ideally in manufacturing industry or consulting
Master’s degree in (industrial) engineering or a related field
Solid knowledge of project management and experience applying initial methods for performance improvement
Confident user of MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint; advanced skills in data processing and analysis are an advantage
Structured, analytical working style combined with strong execution skills and natural communication
Willingness to travel (across Germany, occasionally internationally)
Excellent German and English skills (business fluent)
