About the role

  • You actively acquire new customers in the mid-market and build a robust sales pipeline through outbound activities, networking and market analysis.
  • You identify new target industries, relevant decision-makers and concrete use cases for Atlassian solutions.
  • You independently conduct initial meetings, needs analyses and presentations and support deals through to successful contract signing.
  • You strategically develop existing customers and identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
  • In doing so, you work closely with our consulting and delivery teams, as well as with our Business Line Managers.
  • You create individual account plans and derive concrete actions from them.
  • You are responsible for forecasts, pipeline management and regular Quarterly Business Reviews.
  • You represent HiQ at events, webinars and in customer workshops.

Requirements

  • Completed degree or equivalent qualification
  • Several years of experience in new business development and B2B sales – ideally in an IT, software or consulting environment
  • Strong knowledge of the Atlassian ecosystem (e.g. Jira, Confluence, ITSM, Cloud, Marketplace apps)
  • Proven success in expanding existing accounts and closing complex deals
  • Strong hunter mentality combined with a professional demeanor
  • Excellent communication skills at all hierarchical levels
  • Strategic thinking, strong customer orientation and a hands-on working style
  • Business-fluent German and English (min. C1)
