About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Handle a dedicated book of business
- Respond to client inquiries via phone, email, or in-person regarding policies, coverages, billing, and claims
- Process policy changes, endorsements, cancellations, and renewals accurately and promptly
- Provide quotes/remarket existing policies when appropriate
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through professional, friendly service
- Review coverage and policy details with clients to ensure proper protection
- Identify cross-sell opportunities and refer to producers
- Maintain accurate and organized client records within the agency management system
- Assist with policy renewals by reviewing accounts for coverage needs.
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Degree or Equivalent
- Excellent working knowledge of the computer and the following programs: Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Adobe Acrobat Pro and Internet Explorer
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technology and software
- Ability to analyze work assignments and know when to ask for assistance in order to complete the assignments in a timely manner
- Ability to respond promptly to departmental needs and solicit feedback to improve service
- Perform all job requirements, consistently produce quality work, complete tasks accurately and on time, prioritize and plan work assignments, use time efficiently to meet productivity standards and commitments
- Take responsibility for own actions and be responsive to coaching from account managers and department manager
- Strive to continuously pursue training and development opportunities to build knowledge and skills.
