About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Handle a dedicated book of business
  • Respond to client inquiries via phone, email, or in-person regarding policies, coverages, billing, and claims
  • Process policy changes, endorsements, cancellations, and renewals accurately and promptly
  • Provide quotes/remarket existing policies when appropriate
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through professional, friendly service
  • Review coverage and policy details with clients to ensure proper protection
  • Identify cross-sell opportunities and refer to producers
  • Maintain accurate and organized client records within the agency management system
  • Assist with policy renewals by reviewing accounts for coverage needs.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School Degree or Equivalent
  • Excellent working knowledge of the computer and the following programs: Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Adobe Acrobat Pro and Internet Explorer
  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technology and software
  • Ability to analyze work assignments and know when to ask for assistance in order to complete the assignments in a timely manner
  • Ability to respond promptly to departmental needs and solicit feedback to improve service
  • Perform all job requirements, consistently produce quality work, complete tasks accurately and on time, prioritize and plan work assignments, use time efficiently to meet productivity standards and commitments
  • Take responsibility for own actions and be responsive to coaching from account managers and department manager
  • Strive to continuously pursue training and development opportunities to build knowledge and skills.
