Lead 3 to 4 PR teams developing high-level strategy and delivering on client goals
Drive media, influencer and social media programs and campaigns
Develop campaign and PR program plans and set aggressive but achievable goals
Generate and edit press releases, fact sheets, backgrounders, biographies, pitches, Q&As, contributed articles, award submissions and other communications materials
Manage client relationships as day-to-day contact and ensure client success
Develop budgets, allocate team priorities and identify opportunities to increase budget
Lead media training sessions and follow-up work including key message development
Measure ROI of communications activities and amplify media coverage
Maintain and develop media and influencer relationships; engage media for agency initiatives
Manage and mentor direct reports including goal setting and performance reviews
Participate in new business development and represent the agency at networking events
Use Highwire social channels and contribute to the Highwire blog
Support teams and manage up and down; uphold professional and respectful team culture
Requirements
5+ years of experience growing teams and delighting clients
Ability to lead 3 to 4 teams
Rock-solid writing skills
In-depth knowledge of the technology industry
Proficiency with all things digital and social
Track record of leading-edge thinking to develop programs with business impact
Technology background and established relationships with consumer tech media
Strong relationships with business, broadcast and influencer media
Strong grasp and creative use of social media channels
Experience measuring the ROI of communications activities
Experience with social media influencer engagement, content campaigns, and media coverage amplification
Ability to manage PR programs from kickoff through achieving goals
Ability to set aggressive but achievable goals based on generating news and ongoing coverage
Exceptional client management skills and deep personal investment in client success
Ability to manage through periods of change or challenge
Ability to think clearly and project confidence amid crisis situations
Day-to-day contact for clients
Ability to develop budgets and team priority allocations and identify opportunities to increase budget
