About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Conduct initial patient assessments to determine suitability for TMS therapy
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and clinical guidelines.
- Perform TMS therapy sessions according to established protocols and safety standards
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Document patient responses and treatment outcomes accurately and comprehensively
- Collaborate with psychiatrists and nurse practitioners to coordinate care and optimize patient outcomes
- Educate patients and their families about TMS therapy and answer any questions or concerns they may have
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical and legal standards in all aspects of patient care
Requirements
What you’ll need- Certified Medical Assistant - Required
- Certification or training in TMS administration preferred but willing to train the right candidate
- EHR (Athena) experience highly preferred
- Previous experience working in a clinical setting, preferably with individuals experiencing mental health disorders
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to help others
- Willingness to undergo background checks and maintain compliance with relevant regulations and licensure requirements
