About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assess human responses and plan, implement, and evaluate outpatient nursing care for individuals and families

- Assign staff duties and lunches when serving in a charge role

- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to evaluate clinical care and health services

- Supervise, delegate to, and evaluate LPNs within their scope of practice
- Use the nursing process to develop and evaluate individualized patient care plans

- Assess and document changes in condition, notify physicians or supervisors, and intervene appropriately
- Accept assignments outside the primary unit and perform duties within competency

- Assess and attempt to resolve patient and family concerns
- Complete assigned duties within the established work shift using effective time management
Requirements
What you’ll need- Current State of PA RN licensure or current multi-state licensure through the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC)
- Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
- Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate
- Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
- CPR certification
- Certification in area of specialty preferred
- Ability to perform duties within individualized competency
- Compliance with HIPAA, privacy, information security, legal, ethical, and company policy requirements
