About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Deploy, configure, and manage Linux-based systems
Ensure robust data protection through CommVault
Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain Linux-based systems
Implement and manage backup and restore operations for both physical and virtual servers using CommVault
Provide first-line technical assistance for Linux and CommVault-related issues
Develop and utilize scripts (e.g., Python, Bash) to streamline routine tasks
Collaborate with IT professionals, vendors, and other departments

Requirements

What you’ll need

1 year of experience in one or many of the following tasks: analyzing, designing, coding, testing and implementing technical solutions, as well as providing general production support
1 year of technical problem solving, solution implementation, team/project collaboration
1 year of basic computer science concepts and principles, common operating systems, development languages/scripting
Proficiency in Linux Operating Systems (e.g., RHEL)
Experience with scripting languages such as Python and Bash
Familiarity with cloud computing concepts and platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure)
Understanding of version control systems like Git
Fundamental knowledge of network protocols and configuration
Awareness of cybersecurity best practices relevant to Linux environments
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering or relevant experience
