About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead a team of financial analysts responsible for providing critical financial insights and support to various Institutes
- Analyze monthly financial results, monitor key metrics for performance management, budget management, and special project support
- Perform management responsibilities to include hiring and termination decisions, coaching and development, rewards and recognition
- Communicate effectively within the team, amongst peers, and upwards to senior leadership
- Oversee the review and analysis of monthly financial results for various products, identifying variances from performance plans
- Develop and present clear, concise, and actionable reports to stakeholders
- Conduct ad-hoc analyses and provide recommendations to support decision making
- Support the annual budget process
- Team management and development: manage and mentor the team, provide technical guidance, training, and performance feedback
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration or an accounting field, or relevant experience and/or education as determined by the company in lieu of bachelor's degree
- 4 years of experience in financial analysis
- 2 years of experience in Management or leadership role
- 2 years of experience in project management, delivering presentations or leading group discussions
- Certified Public Accountant (preferred)
- Skills using Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Experience using report writers and query tools, specifically MS Access or SAS
- Strong working knowledge of CMS regulations governing Medicare products
