About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Configure, roll out, and support the assigned Epic application(s)
- Perform business/systems analysis, requirements definition and documentation
- Communicate with system end-users to understand issues and implement solutions
- Plan, design/build, test, implement, and support the needs of Epic software
- Analyze and determine system requirements and specifications
- Conduct problem-solving and root cause analysis to resolve routine to moderately complex problems
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3 years of systems administration experience within one or more Epic modules
- 3 years of experience in the healthcare industry (preferred)
- Ability to handle analysis, design, system configuration and testing tasks at basic to moderate levels of complexity
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong organizational skills in managing priorities
- Demonstrates knowledge of project management principles as they relate to assigned tasks
- Associates degree required (or 2 years of relevant work experience in lieu)
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Healthcare or relevant experience (preferred)
- Epic Application Certification within 6 months (required)
