About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Analyze financial and business performance figures and their variances
Prepare and monitor budgets
Conduct project, cost and action controlling
Maintain and further develop the reporting system
Support the preparation of separation accounting
Assist with monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and reporting
Support the accounting department
Prepare standard reports for management and committees

Requirements

What you’ll need

Successfully completed, relevant university degree in Controlling / Accounting or comparable experience
Solid knowledge of cost accounting, profitability and variance analysis, and budgeting
Confident use of analytical tools (e.g. Excel, databases, Business Intelligence tools)
Ideally experience with common ERP systems (preferably Sage 100) and financial reporting systems (e.g. Lucanet)
Strong analytical skills; independent, solution-oriented, structured and meticulous
Sense of responsibility and commitment to the role
Very good German and English skills
