About the role

  • End-to-end testing (UX/UI) of new features as part of the development process
  • Analyze app features and requirements early in the development cycle and derive test cases
  • Define, structure, and document test cases, test procedures, and acceptance criteria
  • Ensure user-friendly operation of our Shopify apps
  • Validate technical workflows, edge cases, and feature completeness
  • Log, reproduce, and report bugs in a structured manner
  • Actively contribute feedback to the development process

Requirements

  • Strong ability to adopt the user’s perspective
  • Structured working approach with strong attention to detail
  • Good eye for design, consistency, and intuitive usability
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Willingness and ability to learn complex technical processes and product logic
  • Understanding of agile development processes (e.g., Scrum or Kanban) is a plus
  • Experience with bug-tracking tools (e.g., Linear, Jira, GitHub Issues) desirable
  • Basic knowledge of eCommerce or Shopify is a plus but not required
